Angola: TechnipFMC to supply subsea production systems for an offshore project

Oilfield services company TechnipFMC announced on Monday that it had been awarded a major contract by Azule Energy to supply subsea production systems for the development of Block 18 Infills, offshore Angola.

For TechnipFMC, a "major" contract is worth between $75 million and $250 million.

Azule Energy is a joint venture between BP and Eni in AngolaThis is TechnipFMC's first subsea production systems contract with Azule Energy,

The contract follows the announcement of a contract to supply flexible pipes for Azule's Agogo Integrated West Hub development.

As part of the subsea production systems contract, the existing field layout will be reconfigured to accommodate new equipment that will continue to support Azule's plan to increase production. 

TechnipFMC will design and manufacture subsea trees, a manifold, subsea distribution equipment and surface controls, as well as jumpers, flowlines and umbilicals.
