NPC: Expertise in HSE and Digital Transformation

The Chairman of Nasr Petroleum Company (NPC), Mohamed Abdullaha, recently announced new initiatives to strengthen health, safety and environment (HSE) systems within his company. These steps were taken as part of the NPC's General Assembly meeting, led by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, to review and approve the planning budget for the 2025/26 financial year.

At the meeting, Mohamed Abdullaha detailed the significant advances made by NPC in the field of industrial safety, highlighting in particular the installation of state-of-the-art safety systems at its facilities. These include early warning systems and automatic fire extinguishing systems, guaranteeing optimum protection for employees and the environment, while enabling a rapid response in the event of an incident.

At the same time, Abdullaha highlighted the company's efforts to modernise its operations. A major digital transformation programme is underway, with the aim of strengthening NPC's operating system. These digitisation projects aim to improve operational efficiency and optimise the management of the company's resources.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of the capital budget for the 2025/26 financial year, which focuses on the development and completion of the company's strategic units. Abdullaha said the budget will support the company's continued growth and contribute to the achievement of its long-term objectives, while addressing the challenges of the oil sector.

In short, Nasr Petroleum Company is pursuing its ambitious development strategy, combining technological innovation and rigorous safety standards to remain competitive and sustainable in a constantly evolving global market.
