Angola: Eni and Sonangol expand their cooperation in the fields of decarbonization and sustainable energy transition
Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi and Sonangol Chairman Sebastião Pai Querido Gaspar Martins signed in Rome a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to further expand the scope of cooperation between the two companies in Developing studies on the value of chain agribusiness and in other decarbonization sectors, including energy transition minerals and the innovation ecosystem. The memorandum builds on the good progress of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Eni, Sonangol and Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis de Angola ("ANPG") in October 2021 to identify opportunities for cooperation in the Republic of Angola in the areas of bio-based raw materials. and circular economy.
