Senegal: Me Malick SALL, new permanent secretary of the Strategic Orientation Committee for Oil and Gas (COS PETROGAZ)

President Macky SALL presiding over the Council of Ministers, yesterday at the Palace of the Republic, appointed the former Minister of Justice, Mr Malick SALL to the post of Permanent Secretary of the Strategic Orientation Committee for Oil and Gas (COS PETROGAZ), replacing Mr Ousmane Ndiaye who was called to other functions.

FOR REMINDER

COS-PETROGAZ is responsible for assisting the President of the Republic and the Government in the definition, supervision, evaluation and control of the implementation of the State's policy on the development of oil and gas projects.

The creation of this structure under the President of the Republic comes in the context of the discovery of important gas and oil reserves on our maritime territory.
